  1. Ready Steady Sport is a multi-sports coaching programme in and around Tunbridge Wells, Kent and Godalming, Surrey for 21/2  to 9 year old boys and girls. There a 6 stages in total. The activities become progressively more challenging throughout the course of the programme as the children develop. Every lesson always ends with a fun game! The children:-

    • Get to play SEVEN different sports
    • Maximum of 12 children per class
    • Helps improve co-ordination, confidence, concentration, fitness, balance AND ball skills!
    • No Startup Membership/Joining fee!

    Stage 1: Ready Rascals: 2.5 – 3.5 year olds (45 minute classes)
    Stage 2: Steady Eddies: 3.5 – 4 year olds (45 minute classes)

    The first 2 stages are for pre-school age children and are geared at giving the kids a great introduction to sport through play and exploration in a fun and safe environment. Each lesson contains lots of short and varied activities in order to keep the youngsters fully engaged and focused!

    Stage 3: Go Getters: Reception (4 – 5 year olds – 1 hour classes)

    The Go Getters will learn how to travel with, send and receive a ball and other equipment in different ways, whilst also doing lots of catching, throwing, bouncing and kicking exercises which are all designed to improve their hand to eye co-ordination, ball skills and spacial awareness.

    Stage 4: Superstars: Year 1 (5 – 6 year olds – 1 hour classes)
    Stage 5: Megastars: Year 2 (6 – 7 year olds – 1 hour classes)
    Stage 6: Champions: Years 3 & 4 (8 – 9 years olds – I hour classes)

    In stages 4, 5 and 6 the children will get to play one of seven different sports each week (cricket, football, rugby, hockey, basketball, volleyball and tennis). They will learn all the various intricacies and rules of these sports whilst also honing their skills.

    Birthday Parties

    If you are looking to celebrate your child’s next birthday with a party you might like to consider a fun and action-packed Ready Steady Sport party!The children (up to 25 in total) will have a truly unforgettable 2 hours having the time of their lives playing party game after party game with a much needed break in the middle to refuel!

    Pricing & Other Information

    The first class is free which gives both you and your child an opportunity to meet the coach and get a feel for the fun atmosphere.
    After that the costs are:
    Ready Rascals and Steady Eddies 45 min classes: £6.50 per class
    1 hour after school classes: £7.50 per class
    The children get a FREE t-shirt on joining for the term!

      My son (7 years) has been going weekly to Ready Steady Sport for the last two years and loves it. They cover such a broad spectrum of sport - Cameron has done hockey, basketball, rugby, cricket, handball and tennis just to name a few. They cover the basics and play a game, and at the end of each week, Toby awards a trophy! One of the best bits is that each week the kids don't know which sport they're going to play, so that adds an element of anticipation and excitement. Cameron loves going.

      Jules first attended classes at Ready Steady Sport two years ago now after they were recommended to me via a friend. Jules now attends regular classes once a week and it’s something he always looks forward to. I can’t speak highly enough of their teacher Toby, he is totally trustworthy, the kids are really engaged with him and he installs a great team spirit within the group and they’re always really motivated to learn new sports. Jules' favourite activities at Ready Steady Sport are the basketball, hockey and football which he’s continues to improve in and I put that down to the fantastic atmosphere installed at the club.

      My son has been going to Ready Steady Sport Since he was three. I think it’s great as the kids get to try so many sports that they don’t get the chance to try at school. It is very interactive and my son adores it. He does the summer and holiday courses and always looks forward to it.
