We have taken out a season ticket for the Lido every year since it was saved! I was very involved in the fundraising to save the Lido as I believe it to be a very valuable asset to the town and I think they do an incredible job with it given that it is run as a charitable trust. My children have all been going since they were tiny and we often head down after school, and sometimes spend the whole day there with a picnic in the summer (when the sun comes out!). The kids love it.
We've had a season ticket to the Lido for the last four or five years now and have already bought one for this summer. It's great - we often head over after school which is a nice social activity for us all, as parents and
children. My older two often head down on their own to meet up with friends. They make improvements every year and have recently updated the paddling pool. They used to only allow children over 8 in the pool without supervision but have now amended this to take into account the individual child's swimming ability which is a much better. The staff are always friendly, and they have life guards, and first aiders. We often head down with a picnic, and you're not restricted to only having food and drink bought on site. As we're season ticket holders we make the effort to use the facilities, and it doesn't matter if we're down there all day or just for a couple of hours.

Ben is a highly-experienced manager, having previously worked in a range of other leisure facilities. 2014 is his third year at Arundel Lido. He is supported by two Duty Managers and a team of trained Lifeguards and Reception/Shop staff, all of whom are recruited locally.
We always buy a season ticket for the lido as we use it so frequently! It is in such a lovely setting, the staff are unfailingly nice and the environment is very child friendly and safe. It's a great place to head down to for the day with a picnic. We go in all weathers as the children have got wetsuits and it's only ten minutes from home. It would be great if they had a "posh" coffee machine although I understand that this may be just my pipe dream! We love going there and have recommended it to many of our friends. The kids are already asking when it will be open this year.
