About Freya: Freya lives near Shoreham and doesn't yet attend school yet. She goes to nursery 2 and a half days a week and is very excited about starting her swimming classes.

Freya is one of the lucky children to be sponsored in 2015. She'll be learning Swimming with Puddle Ducks in Sussex and you can see how much she progresses over the year.
Update from Mum (Date: 10/09/15)
Freya's classes have just begun again since the holiday. She has taken to swimming really well, and loves being in the water. She enjoys all the games, designed to promote more independence within the water, and she has no fear when it comes to jumping in! Freya enjoys interacting with the other children in the class and will happily play sing along games with them.
Freya struggles to see clearly and so she gets frustrated if she cannot see the toys that they are meant to be playing with ie a small rubber duck. Freya's gaining confidence within the water, and has now been able to swim for 5 seconds underwater. We are hoping that Freya's independent swimming skills will improve and that she gains more confidence in swimming with her head under water.
