We offer out of school activities, that get your child fit and helathy whilst having fun. The main focus is to increase physical activity and we will use a range of equipment from a wide variety of games.
SKiL CIC is working to ensure that out-of-school physical activity clubs are not just for those who are part of a football or cricket team but should be for anyone who wants to get active. Being physically active does necessarily mean that you have to be 'good' at playing a game..
SKiL CIC can also be booked to cater for a range of group activities, from birthdays to tournaments, for all ages, we can come and provide you with a bespoke activity package.
About SKIL-CIC
SKiL CIC develops social confidence by encouraging team work and helping children participate in a range of activities. We include children of all abilities, not just those who will become major champions!
One of our key objectives is to increase access to affordable childcare opportunities and we are working with schools and academies to create a new model that encompasses teaching, coaching and instruction within OFSTED registered provisions.
This approach delivers quality physical activities, increases access to OFSTED registered childcare and provides schools with access to specialist Physical Education teachers who will help to deliver the PE curriculum within Primary school.
We strongly support affordable child-care. We accept Accor vouchers and also child-care tax credits at Hailsham Community College.

My son is autistic so joining SKIL-CIC has been fantastic as they are so inclusive for children like Ronnie. I like how they adapt sports for those kids who struggle with concentration and co-ordination, for example when playing badminton they used a balloon instead of shuttlecock. The teachers, Jamie and Lucy have been so well trained and I love their endless enthusiasm and patience. They are brilliant with the kids especially at getting them back into the world they need to be in, and giving them the praise they deserve.
Zac absolutely loves SKIL-CIC. They are professional, they really care and are very passionate about what they do. I really like how they reward and recognise the children's achievements, and it has had a positive impact on Zac's confidence. I also like that the children are safe. It's brilliant!
Jamie has been providing dodge ball sessions before school and my daughter has thoroughly enjoyed it. She is not normally a morning person, however, has been more than happy to wake up extra early for her 8am start. She said Jamie is really good with the children without being too pushy.
Thank you!
My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed the after school SKIL sessions. Mike, the teacher is excellent with the children and motivates and praises the children to keep them on task. The sessions are varied and this ensures the children take part in a variety of activities.
It is well run and the staff are young and friendly. I can not recommend it enough.

Very well organised, professional and dedicated. They worked with our 4, 5, 6 and 7 year olds and they were fantastic. You could see the progression in skills throughout the ages and that the teachers gained confidence in the planning and the delivery of specific physical educational skills thanks to SKiL. Very supportive especially when it came to planning schemes of work. Money well spent.
