  1. Hi Marko here,
    Ever wanted to join the Circus, then here's your chance to learn the skills....

    I have been Teaching circus skills for 9 years now and it's great fun.

    I am available for children's parties, events, schools, festivals, scout and guide groups, weddings and much more.

    Children's parties are great fun! They normally last about 90 minutes, but in that time it's amazing what we get through.

    First of all I go through all of the circus skills & then teach the children how to juggle bean bags, I then teach them how to use the devil sticks. Then it's time for Diabolo, Stilts, Pedal goes & much more, And don't forget it's all hands on, no sitting & watching me; where's the fun in that.

    We all have a great time & that includes the adults....The age for parties is from 6yrs upwards, but it's not a problem if some of the children are younger & are mixed in with older children.

    The number of children for a party is up to 20, but can increase as long as the venue is big enough to take more....( Please note: This type of party should be held at a Hall of some kind & not the Home, I do need a lot of space when children start throwing Diabolo's & Devil sticks about ! )

    Circus skills in one word is 'Fun' and lots of it!

      I work for Hartlepool Borough Council. I am very happy to supply a reference for Marko's Circus Workshop as I have known him within the Council for around 7 years now. The council use Marko for fun days for public events. Its a great way of getting everyone involved and improving their skills in a fun way, he has all the equipment needed to run a workshop and he is used to dealing with large groups of people. Marko is very friendly and many people have invited him back to do more events year by year.
      I am happy to recommend Marko.

      Marko's circus workshops have run several workshops at my dance company. From the second he walks in the door Marko creates a great atmosphere. He is great with the children. Marko presents a variety of circus skills to the children and then they try what he shows them. The best thing for the children is having a go themselves! He brings lots of different apparatus to his workshops including, diablos, ribbons and silk scarves. The children always want him to come back!

      I booked Marko's Circus workshops for Stuart's birthday party two years on the trot. The best bits about the workshops was really all of it! Marko is brilliant at getting everyone involved, lots of parents stayed with their kids and everyone got up and had a go. Marko showed us lots of circus skills including, juggling, diablos and little stilts. He also did some mime, improvisation and tricks with a suitcase which the kids thought was magic! Marko is really lovely and I have recommended him to lots of friends.

      Marko visited school on 2 occassions: 1) As a reward for good behaviour in school for older pupils (10-11 yr olds) 2) As part of our sports week, Marko worked with children from 3 - 10 years old. On both occassions the children had great fun learning new skills.

    Well what can I say! I was born & bred in Middlesbrough & that’s where I met my lovely wife who gave me two wonderful boys now aged 13 & 16. I always loved the circus from an early age, the clowns the acrobats the circus skills & most of all the atmosphere. Many years ago I joined a Circus Workshop & learned my skills of which I bring to my workshops today, there’s no greater job satisfaction than seeing kids smiling & laughing when I am teaching them circus skills, & most of all when a child throws a diabolo in the air or juggles a bean bag for the first time! The excitement on their faces is electric. I don’t think I will ever grow old of enjoying what I do & seeing what I see. Thank You Marko....
