Using my experience with children from newborns to school aged i know the hurdles most parents have to over come, from colic and reflux to teething and helping the child progress through their development.
I offer calm, relaxing and friendly environments, where parents can bond further with their babies. My classes consist of no more than six parents in a class, which helps to create a lovely ambiance.

I recently finished a 4 week course of baby massage that I arranged to be held at my house with a group of friends. The massage itself was really good, and was thoroughly explained with offers of follow up advice if there was anything you missed or didn't understand. Martha didn't initially enjoy it, and the babies would at times set each other off crying, but by the 4th week she had learnt to enjoy it and could manage 50 minutes of the hour session. It would have been helpful if the sessions could be longer to allow for times when the babies were upset or needing to be fed, or even to have dolls to use when the babies had enough, as I sometimes felt I was missing sections. Overall it was a lovely experience to be able to focus on Martha, and do something that calmed her and chilled her out, particularly before bedtime.
I've recently finished a 4 week course with Kiddi Soothe, where we learnt different massage techniques to soothe and relax our babies, as well as to help different ailments. The early sessions focused on the body, arms and legs, and then developed further onto the back and head, so that by the end of the course we were doing a full body massage. Oliver really enjoys being massaged now, and I often do the techniques he likes best at home too. At times it was a little hard to keep up, as I sometimes couldn't remember which techniques were which, but we were given handouts which meant I could go over it at home, and show my husband how to do them too. Overall it was a lovely way to spend time with Oliver, and I'm pleased I did the course.
I really enjoyed the massage sessions. I did some at home baby massage with my son and that helped his colic, so when I had my daughter I wanted to go and do a proper class. This class was nice and laid back and was a great way to socialise for both Mum and baby.
Good course and lots of techniques to try at home.

I am a qualified nanny of 6 years nearly 7 years, and absolutely love it. As a nanny i have worked with new born babies to school aged children. I have a full DBS disclosure, and i am OFSTED registered. A couple of years a go i did my baby massage qualification to work with parents to develop the precious bond with their baby.
The baby massage was really good, Harrisson took to it straight away and was very relaxed. I had originally signed up to a group session, but due to others pulling out at the last minute it ended up being one to one, which I wasn't going to complain about! Amy was great at explaining the techniques, and each week more techniques were added so it developed over the 4 week course. As it was one to one it was flexible and we could adapt it to suit what Harrisson did and didn't like, and take breaks for nappy changes. Sometimes it went a bit quickly which could possibly make it difficult in a group situation, but Amy was very good about asking for feedback and taking it on board at the end of the course. Overall I found it very beneficial, and lovely for bonding time. My husband also did a one off session, which is a condensed version of the course, and found it very beneficial too.
